Tournament at the beautiful Hawk’s Landing Golf
Course conveniently located on the grounds of
the Orlando World Center Marriott. Four-person
teams will begin in reverse-shotgun format at

This year’s Icebreaker Reception will be a
treasure, for sure. Don your eye patch and pirate
clothes as we celebrate our return to Florida in
true pirate fashion. Themed entertainment, food
and beverages will have you walking the plank.
Saturday, July 14
This busy day features the first of two General
Sessions, the annual Board of Governors Meeting
and Regional Forums, as well as educational
seminars and culinary demonstrations.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
ACF members will once again lend their skills
and expertise to teach kids and their families
that healthy cooking and nutritious eating can
be easy—and fun. Volunteers will gather at the
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, Universal
Orlando Foundation Branch, to lead interactive
healthy cooking demonstrations during the
3rd Chefs Outreach to the Community Day.

2012 FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER
Be a part of the excitement as ACF prepares
for the “culinary Olympics” in Erfurt, Germany,
Oct. 5-10. Members of ACF Culinary Team
USA will host several food stations during this
evening reception. Tickets are available for
purchase through the ACF national convention
website, and the proceeds will support Team
USA’s efforts to go for the gold.
TRADE SHOW
Day one features U.S.A.’s Chef of the
Year™, ACF Pastry Chef of the Year and
the Baron H. Galand Culinary Knowledge
Bowl competitions. After the excitement of
witnessing the competitions and walking
the trade-show floor, stop by the Wellness
Pavilion and get a chair massage, learn
basic yoga techniques, or partake in a
variety of other health and well-being
offerings. Get the scoop on 2013 at the
ACF Gathering Spot. Representatives from
each of the four host chapters for next
year’s regional conferences will be on hand
to answer questions about what’s in store
when you come to “their town.”
