I am honored by the nomination and have accepted the challenge
to continue my involvement, to contribute and make a positive
difference for the future of the American Academy of Chefs,
the American Culinary Federation and foremost, our culinary
profession. I will continue to ask for your support in achieving the
goals of the Academy. I am committed to the financial stability of
the Academy and pledge to fulfill the duties of the vice chair and
fully assist and support the objective of the chair in mentoring
prospective members in achieving the necessary qualifications for
acceptance as new Fellows of the Academy.
I accept the challenge and am honored to have been nominated
for the office of vice chair of the American Academy of Chefs.
An ACF member for almost 40 years, I have served as national
treasurer and Northeast region vice president, and continue to
serve as the AAC Scholarship Committee chair and on the ACF
Finance & Investment Task Force. I know the importance of the
Academy to the ACF. I also know the fellowship we members
share. I look forward to serving as vice chair of this prestigious
honor society. I will continue to uphold the Academy traditions
with honor and integrity.
